Rose City Yarn Crawl

Rose City Yarn Crawl

They Rose City Yarn Crawl had an amazing event. For four days, fiber fantatics from all over the Northwest converge on the yarn shops of Portland, shopping and sharing. Each shop features two patterns and the lead in to the festivities include two Mystery Along projects, where knitters follow along with a pattern but don’t know what it is until the project is finished. The previous site was not mobile friendly and did not showcase the amazing photos taken each year.

We came up with a site that features event calendars to easily add to calendars, an interactive map, lovely slide shows, ecommerce and an interactive patterns page. Instagram and Facebook feeds allowed the latest social media photos to be part of the site.

Ted Rudiger Excavation

Client Ted Rudiger had a ton of amazing reviews on Angie’s List and needed a website to match his reputation. It had to be user friendly, be informative and above all, be all about sales. It was fun to create this engaging site with the photos of his groundbreaking work in excavation. A dynamically linked Angie’s List badge assures site visitors that he has satisfied many construction customers. The large click to call phone number makes it easy to contact them on a mobile device.

  • Redesign 100% 100%
  • Convert to Responsive 100% 100%

This event is the largest chocolate festival in Portland and is a benefit for the World Forestry Center. The challenge on this site was to convert it to WordPress, add event features to make it easier to use, and make it responsive. Implementing the dramatic photography used in the print and media campaigns made it easy and fun. The old site was not nearly as delicious as this one. What a fun site to work on!
