The Card Campaign

When I heard about the Card Campaign on Facebook last year, I was immediately interested. It was an effort to fight the rampant misinformation that was flooding our phones and laptops by presenting documented information on civics and political process via pdf files for cards one could print out at home.

Each card is on a specific topic and carefully reviewed, edited, and vetted by experts. Once again, I put my print design skills to work, laying out each card in four different formats as well as web images.

I then dipped into my design skillset by posting them online on the existing website. I was able to make some changes to the format of the site to improve the visual presentation, information architecture, accessibility, and user experience for the web visitors. Recently we added a print on demand feature for the cards that has been very popular!

We have just released our 25th card for 2025. It has been very healing for me to support an effort that reaches over 50,000 people on Facebook and email with the goal of restoring democracy for all Americans.
